The White Out Part Four - A Nat and Alyssa Story
Alyssa waited for Nat to let go of her hand, to sit back, to get that steely look in his eyes. He didn’t. He just continued to look into her eyes with that look that told her that he was telling the truth. “No catch, I can understand your surprise and the uneasiness that you felt. The behavior was a little over the top, but very appropriately you.” Alyssa couldn’t help but smile at that one. “We’re just going to start fresh tomorrow.”
Stunned didn’t even begin to describe what she was feeling. Stunned, exhausted and somewhat cautious, there had to be something wrong here, some sort of agenda. She just couldn’t figure it out, couldn’t find the trap, couldn’t spot the trick being played. Her brain was not functioning at normal speed. Alyssa was plain old exhausted, and it was damaging her judgment on manipulative situations.
Why on earth did emotions have to be so tiring? They talked for a few more minutes, he really didn’t seem mad. It was incredible. It was far too strange to be true, Alyssa concluded. True he wasn’t yelling, but there had been plenty of times where Nat was furious with her and hadn’t yelled. She almost jumped out of the chair as he stood up. This is it, she thought, this is the catch.
He held out his hand and helped her up. Here goes, her brain said, welcome to your doom. If she had thought that a hand spanking was bad she couldn’t even imagine what kind of punishment she was about to get.
Alyssa almost fainted when Nat wrapped his arms around her, giving her a quick hug. ‘He’s hugging me?’ Her brain couldn’t register it. Gently he began to steer her towards the stairway and she felt herself going. It was if her brain was saying one thing and her darn feet weren’t listening.
“I’m not tired, Nat,” she told him, “I really don’t think that I should go to sleep this early because it will throw off my sleep schedule.”
Alyssa was sure that would have been convincing too, if she hadn’t stifled the last word with a huge yawn. Well, it was true, she wasn’t tired, she was exhausted. Sensing that she had lost that one, and it wasn’t even a battle worth fighting Alyssa let Nat walk her back up to the guest bedroom. Merely for the sake of keeping up appearances she repeatedly protested, telling him that she was fine, not at all tired, and most certainly did not want to get into bed at this early hour. Everything that came out of her mouth was easily disputed by the large yawns that tended to follow. Nat’s only response was to smile as if amused, which caused Alyssa to wonder if he had fallen on his head.
Once in the room she looked around again. It was so strange. So plain. So…not her. Nat reappeared in the doorway about two minutes later with some pajamas that he had found for her to wear. Frowning, she took them from his hands, and said, once again, “I really am not tired, it’s ridiculous to go to bed this early.” He just looked at her with that small smile of amusement and said, “well try to rest then, I’ll come back and see how you are in a bit.” Before she could even protest, he reached and grabbed the doorknob and pulled the door shut.
Alyssa glared viciously at the door for about a minute thinking as many mean thoughts as she could. Unfortunately that didn’t make her feel any better. Giving a large over dramatic sigh she turned and went back over to where the actual bed was. What on earth had he given her anyway? Unfolding the items she observed and inspected each one and then changed into the oversized shirt and pajama pants he had found for her. It took a little work to make clothes four times her size fit and not fall off, but she managed. Alyssa looked at her reflection in the mirror. She did look tired. Frowning at herself she stuck her tongue out at the reflection and then turned and crawled into the bed. She had to admit, lying down did feel good. But she wasn’t tired, not at all tired.
An hour later Nat stuck his head into the guest room to say good night to Alyssa. He was quite surprised by the fact that not only was she awake but that she looked absolutely miserable. He was almost afraid to ask, because it seemed that every time he did, it led to nothing good. But the look on her face was almost too much for him to bear. “Hey kid,” he said as he walked through the door and went over to sit on the side of the guest bed, albeit temporarily her bed. “What’s up?”
She had that look, the one where there was something on her mind that she desperately wanted to ask him. Nat knew that, one way or another, he was going to find out what it was, however she was also terrified of asking so he was going to have to patiently and gently pull it out of her.
Alyssa glanced up at him quickly, bit her lip and looked down at the quilt pattern that covered the bed. Terrified didn’t even begin to describe what she felt. She was quite aware that he knew she had something on her mind. If only she could talk without sounding like a blathering idiot, that would make things a lot easier.
“Um, I was just wondering,” Alyssa began, never lifting her eyes from the quilt pattern. She knew that if she looked at him to try and gauge a reaction the babbling would set in. That had been her mistake in the past. It was almost instinctive for her to check for facial clues though and she had to force herself to keep her eyes down. “were you actually being serious when you said that you were going to, you know, I mean would you have actually done it?”
Once the sentence was out of her mouth babble free she looked up to try and see the reaction. There wasn’t one. There never was. “done what?” Nat asked her.
Infuriating, Alyssa thought to herself. He knew exactly what she was talking about. He was going to make her say it. Her eyes automatically shot back down to a blue patchwork square on the quilt as she struggled to begin to speak again without the babbling that usually accompanied her.
At first all that happened were facial expressions. A sideways frown, pursed lips, the biting of her bottom lip, Nat did his best not to laugh. Alyssa had some of the best facial expressions of anyone he knew. He wasn’t quite sure how she ever managed to win a poker game in her entire life.
He sat on the side of the bed, silent, not wanting to push her. As he starred at the wall in front of him he noticed the gross amount of neglect the guest bedroom had suffered maintenance wise and began making a mental list of repairs that would need to be done. Interrupting his thoughts he heard a very quiet small voice, not typical at all of Alyssa, say “would you actually have…spanked me?”
The voice was so small and almost vulnerable compared to her usual haughty, self assured tone that he glanced over twice to reassure himself that it was actually she that was speaking. When she finally gathered the courage to look up at him he looked her straight in the eye and told her, “have I ever told you anything besides the truth?”
Alyssa gulped and then answered, “no.”
“So then what does that tell you,” Nat asked.
“That you would have,” Alyssa said.
“That’s right,” Nat told her. Somehow he had a feeling this conversation wasn’t quite over even though Alyssa didn’t say anything else. He wasn’t quite sure why, there was just this nagging feeling inside of him that told him that this discussion was one of those that was going to carry on for a while. However she didn’t move to continue speaking. Nat gave it another thirty seconds and then got up from the bed to make his departure.
Alyssa was already tucked into the bed beneath multiple blankets given the freezing temperatures outside. “All right, given the long day that we’ve both had I think it’s time we both got some rest, what do you say?”
Alyssa nodded.
“Have a good night, kid” Nat said as he headed toward the door. Just before he flipped off the light he heard Alyssa’s voice. “Hey Nat,” she called.
He turned back towards her, “yes”
She was staring at the quilt again which meant whatever she was about to ask was hard for her to say. “Will, um, could, I mean, will you do it anyway?”
Although he was fairly sure that he knew what she meant he wanted to be one hundred percent clear on the details for this conversation. Walking back over to the bed he sat back down in the same place and asked, “do what?”
He watched Alyssa go through her series of facial expressions before she finally said, “I know that you said that everything was fine after I explained and apologized and that you accepted my apology, but…um”
Nat had a bad feeling that he knew exactly where this was going. It was only natural that someone her age would assume that she needed to make it up to him somehow. It was common knowledge around the advising office that she had a crush on him. And he wouldn’t dispute the fact that she was a cutie. However, despite the fact that he might be locked in a house with her for probably the next two weeks he still had no interest in sexual favors from her. He could imagine her mind working. Spanking, foreplay, kissing, blow jobs, anal play ugh, he didn’t actually want to think about it.
However he just let her continue, knowing that she needed to get it off her brain or they’d be having the conversation another time.
“Will you spank me anyway?” Alyssa finished. Nat waited for the second part. The part about what an erotic experience it could be. It didn’t come.
So he asked her, “why would I, Alyssa… why do you want me to spank you?”
With the question phrased that way he was sure to get the answer he was looking for. Her eyes went back to that quilt, at this point Nat wasn’t sure if she would ever stop looking at it. “Because,” she began, her voice shaking, obviously she was very nervous, “I keep acting so badly towards you and you keep forgiving me and telling me to stop acting like a little kid, and I’ve never been punished in my life so I thought, I mean, well I thought maybe if um you punished me like you would a little kid then I might not any more and then I might actually be able to believe you when you say that you forgive me and not feel guilty and be able to actually put the whole thing behind me and oh my it sounds so stupid!” At that point Alyssa burst into tears and pulled the quilt over her head, burrowing herself down further into the bed and sobbing into the mattress.
Nat was too stunned to react at first. That was not at all what he had thought would be coming out of her mouth. However, when he really, truly thought about it, it made much more sense than what he had thought up. Reaching up he tugged gently on the edge of the cover pulling it lose from her grip and then taking the quilt off the bed completely. Alyssa was curled up in a ball tightly holding her knees to her chest as she cried.
Nat didn’t attempt to untangle her. Instead he almost instinctively reached over and picked her up like one would a baby and held her in his arms until she let go over the tight hold she had on her position and instead grabbed on to him, burrowing into his chest and continuing to cry.
When the tears had subsided and Alyssa realized where she was, she looked up at him with a look of pure and utter disbelief before attempting to jump right off his lap. Nat held her there as he had anticipated that one. “Listen to me,” he said, pulling her chin up so that he could look into her eyes. “If you feel that you have earned a spanking because of your behavior, that a spanking is truly the only way that you’ll be able to put this evenings events behind you, then yes I’ll do it. But you have to be absolutely sure Alyssa. Because once I begin, you are not in control any more, do you understand?” He looked at her to see if there was understanding in her eyes. Alyssa could nod her head yes all she wanted, it would be her eyes that would tell him the truth. Amazingly her eyes told him yes. “You understand that once I begin, I, and only I, will decide when you have truly learned your lesson and therefore when to stop the spanking?” Once again Nat looked into her eyes and saw the understanding there that he was quite surprised to see.
It was almost as if he were talking to a different person. Nat lifted her out of his lap holding her arms to steady her as she planted her feet into a standing position. When she turned to look at him he took hold of her wrist and gave a small tug pulling her closer so that her face was about a foot from his. “Tell me what you would like me to do,” Nat said.
