The Fairy Justice Mother

New Ruritania is a strange mix of ancient and modern. It has most of the things you would expect a modern nation to have but there are many parts where people believe in ‘magic’. Also the Sovereign is still a really important figure.

King Albert 17th was a wise man in many ways. One thing he found hard to do was to encourage his successor to take his responsibilities seriously. He was progressive in very many ways. The press was free. Very high quality health care and education was available for everyone. He had near the end of his long life signed a measure allowing gay marriage into law.

Prince Harry was young and handsome (and had access to all the riches of the Kingdom) He was also lazy, arrogant and maybe not all that clever.

One day Harry went riding alone in the wild wood just a few miles from his palace. He managed to fall off his horse.

His leg was stuck under a tree. A hungry tiger thought she had found a lovely meal. However Mrs Oak, widow of a woodsman saw what was happening. She threw a stone which injured the big cat and scared her off.

Mrs Oak called her daughter, Sophie. Sophie arranged a pulley to pull the tree off the careless Prince.

Now both Sophie and her mother would have done the same for anyone who was in need. At first they did not even recognize the Prince.

Sophie had read lots of romantic stories, whilst still doing her school work.

The Prince told Sophie how scared he was of his tutor.

“Franklin is more frightening than that tiger.”

Actually the worst Franklin did to Prince Harry was to remind him of how lazy he had been and chatted to his Aunt.

Elizabeth, Albert’s much younger sister, was disappointed by her nephew. He was due to inherit the throne, and with that serious responsibilities. Yet he took no interest in his future duties. Elizabeth was able to make her nephew feel guilty and ashamed.


He had gone riding partly because he did not know how to do bits of arithmetic, Sophie at first laughed when he explained how he could not do things. Later she showed him easy ways.

He was very handsome. His father, though he let Prince Harry do many things and have many things did not give him a lot of time. Both tutors and servants tended to be formal rather than kind to the then 15 year old Prince.

Sophie had always wanted to have a handsome young man. There were almost no boys of her age\in her district. She was kind. She helped him to learn

She also showed him the safe way to go to her part of the wild forest. She helped him with homework. He brought lovely expensive food and clothing for Sophie and her Mom.

They slowly fell in love.

On his 18th birthday Harry proposed. Sophie accepted. Harry explained that he would not be able to tell the World or anyone about the engagement until he was 21.

Sophie got a scholarship to study in a college in the United States. Albert had no problem finding a prestigious college that would take a future Monarch (even if he was not the cleverest).

The two were able to slip away and see each other at weekends.

Then two things happened. Sophie got an infection. She was in a coma for months.

Now Harry had flirted with lots of American girls. He started dating more seriously with a girl called Lorraine. Lorraine’s Mom was a beautiful movie actress. Her father was a very rich computer businessman.

King Albert approved the marriage.

It was a huge media event. It was even bigger because tragedy had struck. The King had died a week before the wedding.

Harry was King, though he would not be crowned until after the honeymoon. The whole of the World’s celebrity media arrived on the island of New Ruritania.

Very kind and skilful doctors and nurses had treated Sophie. Eventually she was flown home, still in a coma. She recovered, partly with the help of her Mom’s lullabies. She suddenly fully understood everything as she looked at the television. The boy (and Prince) who she had been so kind to and who she thought loved her had broken his promise.

She was angry. She yelled at the room and at the television

“I wish someone would punish that boy for lying and betraying me.”

A sort of fog appeared in her small bedroom. Out of it stepped a tall strong woman in a long green dress. Sophie wondered if she was dreaming.

“Who are you?”

The figure took Sophie’s hand.

“I am Eleanor- your Fairy Justice Mother; tell me why you want someone punished.”

Sophie told the story.

“He will get what he deserves.”

Said the tall figure.

Sophie fell back asleep. Then she woke up. She again saw the television. They were covering the reception.

The wedding was still the dominant story. They covered the reception. Sophie saw the tall lady in the green dress appear in front of the new husband. She handed him a goblet.

He obeyed.

“Harry George FitzStuart, you have just drunk a truth potion. Did you promise to marry Sophie Oak 4 years ago and see her often day until she became ill.”

He said

“Yes I did.”

She asked

“Is breaking a promise good or naughty.”

He said

“Naughty.”

Then she announced

“I am Eleanor, a Fairy Justice Mother. Naughty boys get spanked however old they are and even if they are Princes or Kings.”

Then, in front of maybe 30 million television watchers she grabbed his hand. She walked him to a sofa in the banqueting hall. She pulled him over her knees.

Down came his pants. Down came his underpants. Down came her hairbrush. The wood in the brush was as hard as iron. Eleanor’s arm was as strong and fast as a men’s tennis number 1.

Lorraine watched with horror.

In less than 20 seconds he was bawling and kicking like a baby. Networks tried to cut away but somehow this particular scene stayed visible. on 90% of the TV screens in New Ruritania and about 5% in the United States had tuned in for the wedding.

Twitter, Face book, and texting happened on a massive scale. The US viewership reached 200 million.

After five minutes his bawling was very loud. His bottom was noticeably red.

Although the guests were embarrassed somehow every eye in the banqueting room found itself drawn to the rapidly reddening bottom of their head of state.

His infantile crying filled the banqueting room. (Magic had amplified it)

This very public spanking went on for 40 minutes. The last 10 minutes was the most watched event in television history.


When Fairy Justice Mother Eleanor had finished spanking, she pointed to the new bride

“Lorraine, soap a wash cloth and bring it to your Fairy Justice Mother.”

Lorraine was shocked and appalled at what was happening but could not refuse to obey this frightening figure.

Still in a room full of celebrities and in the gaze of the World’s media Harry was allowed off the Fairy Justice Mother’s knees. His trousers and under pants were still down.

“Open your mouth.”

He obeyed. For fully 20 minutes the magical figure scrubbed ever square millimetre of the inside of Harry’s mouth tongue , lips and teeth.

He was ordered to do 3 hours corner time. He did not disobey.

Lorraine had very mixed feelings. She thought he has surely done wrong but he has surely paid for it. She did not know of his promise to Sophie, or even of her existence.

Now both Sophie and Lorraine had each been careful. They had hugged and cuddled. Harry’s little man had got hard and exited but not gone anywhere it should not.

However Harry had found numbers of other young women who were happy to let a Prince in.

He was all too aware of the soreness of his bottom and the taste in his mouth. Still he expected to have fun on his wedding night.

Harry’s little man just stayed soft and small.

This carried on for 2 weeks. Lorraine was utterly humiliated and angry.

Lorraine went to a lawyer. 10 days before the Coronation was due Harry’s marriage was annulled.

Now the one clear Constitutional duty of a Monarch in New Ruritania is to provide an heir. Harry had, it emerged, become incapable of doing this.

He was prodded and poked by dozens of doctors.

The Coronation was postponed.

Now Princess Elizabeth had some marital problems. Paul was a nice boy but not very attentive. He also had problems with fidelity. The divorce was amicable.

It left the Princess the single mother of five young girls all under 4. She had two sets of twins Mary and Jane 2 months, Ruth and Rachel 20 months and Elizabeth jr not quite 4 years old.

Elizabeth had found out about the relationship her nephew had with Sophie. Sophie did seem to be a good and impressive figure. Elizabeth was impressed.

Sophie accepted the position of Elizabeth junior’s Governess.

Eleanor used her magic in more subtle ways. There were media exposes of his cheating in college exams at college and breaking American laws about alcohol and other substances.

It became clear that the new King was, for whatever reason, wholly and permanently incapable of fathering a legitimate heir.

There was much anger at the scandal. He abdicated. The Council of State passed and his Aunt Elizabeth, now reigning Queen signed a decree removing him from all Royal rights.

Harry could not go back to the United States to finish his studies. He seemed unemployable in his home nation. In the end he begged with his aunt for a job

At first she refused. Then she had an idea. Harry got a job under Sophie’s supervision and of Nancy, the girls’ nanny

Harry would be a childcare assistant. One of his biggest jobs was washing diapers. Sophie had persuaded Elizabeth the Queen, that cloth was better for the environment.


Elizabeth was very loving and able to love in different ways. She took advantage of one of her big brother’s last laws.

There was a wedding. Elizabeth married Sophie who did become a Princess.
