Lispank, Bob and Glitzy and the troubles that moving can cause



So there are a few things that happened this week that caused a bit of trouble for me, the first one will come as no surprise I haven't exactly been following my medicine routine since I have been busy as well as the fact that I really just don't want to take it, especially the nasty cough medicine that the doctor prescribed me. Another is the fact that I kept wanting to push myself harder than I should have since there is so much to do and I feel that I don't have time to take it easy. And the last issue has been me lifting things that are considered too heavy for me.

I had to go to the doctor 2 Mondays because I had been sick all weekend so after having been told by Bob as well as a couple of my really good friends that I had better call and see my doctor I went and he put me on meds only to have me STILL sick last Monday so had to see him again for new meds including the cough med. Now the cough medicine says take as needed and by my way of thinking that means whenever I FEEL like taking it. Bob had other ideas about it.

When he got home from work and I was coughing so hard that I had lost my voice and he found out that I hadn't taken the cough medicine he was NOT very happy with me. He was not the only one to be upset with me over this issue, Glitzy said that she will also be having a chat with me over the constant problems with me not wanting to take medication even though I have been told by the doctor to take it. Oh and did I mention the fact that they found out that I hadn't been taking my iron? And trying to make excuses as to why I hadn't taken them have not done me any good so far. But lucky for me( I think) is that the spankings haven't happened yet because Glitzy has to have time to come visit and Bob wants to wait for me to be fully better so that he doesn't have to be easy just because I am still not completely better. So I have at least 2 coming for not taking medications.

Not only do I have an upper respiratory infection but I have asthma so me going outside to do yard work for a couple of hours on a hot and humid day is usually a big no no but since the new yard is kind of a jungle I felt that since I was the only available to do it that I should. So what if cut grass makes it hard to breathe and I forgot to bring my rescue inhaler, I think that since I made it through with just a few breathing issues that I should be congratulated but sadly they do not agree so there is another spanking lurking in my future.

Lastly there is the issue of me carrying things that are too heavy for me. There are boxes sitting in my basement that need to be brought upstairs and if I can force myself to make it through the pain of getting them taken care of I can tend to be a bit smug about the fact I was told that I couldn't and proved them wrong.


Now the crazy thing is even though I want to try to talk my way out of the spankings that I earned, I know that I would be disappointed if they did not follow through because when they take the time to do it I feel loved and cared for.



p.s- figured I could do a follow up story after I get the spankings I know I have coming, what do you think?

By all means, do a followup.. Working around dust, you need a mask, and to take it a little at a time. TAKE YOUR MEDS! *Btw, I loathe moving, just did that less than 2 yrs ago & still unpacking. Unload the heavy boxes downstairs and take smaller portions upstairs. The "bottom line" is, you will be spanked.
