Lucy and her husband Jed had a loving caring relationship - both were professionals who took their jobs seriously and worked hard every day. Their evenings and weekends together were spent doing all the normal couple things from grocery shopping to going out to dinner to going to the movies to going to parties - all in all just another couple. But their relationship had another side, one where Lucy had to answer to her Daddy Jed when she messed up and broke the rules.
So as Lucy drove home from work that Thursday night she did so with a knot in her stomach - she had messed up big time and broke the rule on swearing and broke it BIG time - she had started the day in good form but something had happened in work and she had let her temper get the better of her and she had sworn roundly about it using words that even to her ears sounded so wrong. She never swore at people but she did swear about things. This was something she worked hard to stop and she had improved so much lately but today she had let rant. So now she was heading home knowing that she was going to be in serious trouble with Daddy.
Jed was looking out the window as she slowly got out of her car. He knew her so well and he could see by her face that something was wrong. He loved her so very much and he knew that when things went wrong with her that she was her worst critic. He also knew that unless he dealt with whatever had happened to put that look on her face that she would be miserable for a long time as she would not forgive herself for messing up.
She looked up and saw him standing at the window - she forced a smile and waved at him. Her thoughts were racing - why tell him what happened, it was done now and there was no going back maybe the best thing would be just to ignore it - after all she was sorry enough already and she felt bad enough if she told Daddy she would be sorry and feel bad and would have a very sore bottom as well why add to the misery??
The door opened just as she was about to put the key in and he took her hand and closing the door behind them led her slowly into the living room. He sat down and drew her down onto his lap wrapping his arms around her and she snuggled into him. He whispered in her ear -"its ok honey tell Daddy what happened let Daddy help you" - and her resolve broke and she told Daddy everything.
He let her tell it all as he held her in his arms when she finished he sat her up and lifted her chin so she was looking Daddy straight in the eye -"honey I am glad you told me but I am sad that you did what you did"
"I know Daddy so am I but I am so very very sorry and I promise I wont do it again"
"Daddy knows you are going to do your best not to do it again and I am proud of you for telling me the truth - but you broke one of your rules and Daddy has to deal with that"
"Please Daddy I really am so sorry dont punish me please"
"Hush honey Daddy has to make sure his girl behaves so lets get you into your pjs babygirl Daddy is going to give you your spanking and tonight you will be going to bed early"
"NO Daddy please I am so sorry please dont spank me"
Daddy stood her up quickly turned her around and gave her a good smack on her bottom "PJs NOW babygirl dont make Daddy ask again"
Slowly she headed to their bedroom ...........
